My party of 4 adults and one child visited In Touch last night. Whilst the food was nice it could have been hotter., The metal serving dishes were cold but the plates were hot. There were plenty of waiters for the amount of tables, but felt that the attention to the customers could have been much better. I felt that the waiters did not want to have any visual contact with you in case you asked for something. When you did ask there was a lack of urgency for example having to remind staff three times of our first drinks order, and to have only half the order brought to us.. We had to ask yet again, for the rest of the order as some 10 minutes had lapsed and wait another 5 minutes for them to arrive. Why an order of 5 drinks cannot be delivered at once I do not know.Again during the meal we had to ask again to bring our second order of drinks and even then the order was wrong. It was not that the staff were unfriendly, they just lacked enthusiasm and all round customer service.A smile just even once would have been nice. Whilst I appreciate this was an Indian restaurant, it would have been nice to offer at least a couple of western dishes especially for the child that was with us. needless to say no tip was given, and would take alot of convinicng for us to return. I am lucky to eat out regularly, and feel what lets this restaurant down is customer service.

Wow wow wow...what a place. Ok, this place is really good, the srcipt is that SVQ or HN stundets are preparing food in the kitchens, up to a very high standard. After this the same (not THE same) are serving the food. The place is swish more than swanky. Though the price allows one to dablle in a not too bad wine selection.
For teh price there can be no better place to eat in Edinburgh than this £3.50 for a three course lunch and we are not talking mince & tatties, or £12.00 / £15.00 for 2, for a trully memorable dinner. Pick the last time you ate out for two for under £20.00 x it by 10 and you have Zero One and there amazing students. I go every week !!!!! email in advance as they now book up some two weeks in advance
